A legendary figure often referenced in books, paintings, and stories about the FishWars, the Great Fishmonger was thought to play a central role in the numerous defeats of the sunfish. While his existence is not proven, many believe that he has existed since the FishWars Alpha and is alive today.

     The Fishmonger is often depicted in a small wooden boat floating down a foggy river, which points to his hidden and legendary life. Most imagine this mysterious figure as red-colored with a crest. In almost all renditions of the Fishmonger, his face is hidden, further indicating his shadowy existence.

     The Great Fishmonger is thought to be found floating down all lost rivers of the FishStar System, living a peaceful life as a fisherman after his involvement with the FishWars.

     Most feel that, while he is known as the Fishmonger, he does not sell fish. In fact, the flag of his boat is sometimes depicted as having an emblem of a standing fish. Perhaps, muse many, he feels that after doing so much damage to the standing fish he wants to remember the old times, when they were not our adversaries but our friends.
